I was first attracted to the Surrey because it was a campus university with a beautiful lake and ranked number one for the course I wanted to study. I was also impressed by the industry links and placement opportunities Surrey had to offer.
The teaching staff were very inspiring and really made me want to do my best. My placement year was a highlight of my time at Surrey and allowed me to develop myself professionally. I definitely grew up during my time at Surrey, both personally and academically. I became more confident in myself and wasn’t afraid to take on new challenges.
I now work as an operations manager for the Good Eating Company, which is a high-end contract caterer based in London. Being involved in extracurricular activities at university, such as Chairwoman of the Food and Wine Society, really helped me get to where I am today.
