I chose to study at Surrey due to its outstanding staff, broad international background and world-class course. When I reviewed my available options, Surrey was the obvious choice.
Surrey engrossed me in an academic environment that is known for its diversity, inclusion and community spirit. During my time at Surrey I gained various skills, such as research, writing, communication, teamwork, independent working and critical thinking.
Thanks to the broad range of modules I took during my time as a student, I have become adequately skilled in different aspects of research. During my time at Surrey I took modules in areas such as research methods, business management, international trade, human resource management, marketing, innovation management and more. All of these provided a good foundation for my PhD study, which I am starting at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow this year.
