It had always been my dream to become a lawyer. I chose the University of Surrey because of its reputation and after talking to people studying at Surrey, I knew that the course would not disappoint me.
The best things about studying law at Surrey were the course content and the lecturers. They were passionate about their subject and offered great insights into the topics we were studying. There were also always mooting and legal volunteer opportunities, as well as the placement year Surrey offers its students. I would strongly recommend that students take advantage of these opportunities. They are not only useful for studying, but they also help you discover what you want to do after graduation.
I am currently a postgraduate student at Otago Polytechnic in Auckland, New Zealand. I am taking a business management course to further my understanding of business. Surrey was definitely a crucial starting point for my career.
