I decide to study at Surrey because I loved the look of my course. The modules were varied, and I could study different areas in sociology, media and criminology. I never felt like any of the modules were repetitive and I was always learning new things.
The lecturers were one of the best things about my course. They were really nice and supportive, and I always felt comfortable going to them for a chat or advice. I also loved having the option of a placement year, as I knew it would help make me more employable.
I am about to start a new job as an Outreach Officer at a university. I’m really excited as the job feels really relevant to my degree, as I’ll be helping to reduce inequalities in education. I’m really excited about starting my career and putting what I learned on my course into practice.
