The University of Surrey has an extensive industrial placement programme, and this was what initially drew me in. Their BSc in Biomedical Science is well established and extremely diverse. The campus environment and its proximity to London were also major contributors to my decision to study here.
My course offered a range of modules that appealed to me. I was able to gain valuable lab skills, both at Surrey and during my placement year. The lecturers were very approachable and always made time for their students.
I am currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I’m studying for a PhD in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University. I love working in an academic environment. I am constantly learning new skills and testing my knowledge. I am surrounded by experts in their fields who have a passion for sharing knowledge. I would not be where I am today without Surrey.
