COURSE:

BSc Microbiology, Class of 2017

The first thing that attracted to Surrey was the campus, and the fact that I would be going to one of the best universities in the country!

The best thing about my course was that the lecturers were all very inspiring. The modules were really interesting and the study spaces were great too. During my time at Surrey I became more confident and professional, which helped hugely with my new career.

I work as an account manager for Sigma Aldrich, part of the Merck life sciences group. I am responsible for managing over 200 pharmaceutical accounts in the UK with a sales target of over £4 million. I find my job hugely enjoyable. Surrey influenced my career as it confirmed my love of science. My advice to students would be to get involved in as much as possible during your time at Surrey.
