I was first attracted to the University of Surrey because of its high ranking for the subject area I was interested in and how diverse the modules were. I also liked how close it was to London, as I knew this would open doors for me.
The best thing about my course was that it had the perfect balance between coursework, assignments and exams. I also enjoyed the lecturers from academics with vast knowledge and expertise.
During my time at Surrey I became more organised and improved my decision-making skills. I learned a lot from my fellow students and formed lifelong friendships. I became a strong person, ready to face the challenges that life brings.
During my time at Surrey I developed a keen interest in data and analytics. I now work as a data analyst for newspapers. I provide key customer data insights that help the senior management team make important decisions.
