COURSE:

BSc Physics and Nuclear Astrophysics, Class of 2017

When I attended an open day at Surrey I fell in love with everything about it. The atmosphere was positive and welcoming, the lecturers and students were friendly, and it all combined to make a wonderful experience. I chose to study physics at Surrey because I knew I would be getting a top-class degree.

My course was engaging and inspiring. It covered a wide range of subjects, allowing you to choose topics that you were personally passionate about. The ability to get hands-on experience in the labs was always an enjoyable experience. The lab sessions allowed me some freedom to experiment and have a different learning experience, as they were always related to the lectures.

At the moment I am on a graduate scheme at a financial data company. I never really knew what I wanted to do when I graduated, but Surrey gave me the confidence to know that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing and to explore my options.
